i'm running a tonehammer 350 into a 15" traynor cab (400W, 8ohm). the cab i've had for a while, never had a problem with it. the amp is a new addition but i've been using it the past few weeks, also without incident.
last night at practice i found when i tried to use a fuzz pedal or turn the gain up on the th, the speaker cable would pop out of the back of the cab (like, physically jump out of the socket) whenever i played a note. this is with the amp master at about 11-12.
the cable is a digiflex speakon-1/4 inch; replacing it with a speakon-speakon cable would solve the problem, i guess, but i want to be certain i'm not damaging the amp or the cab. this ever happen to anyone?
