Speaker recommendations?

My Genz Benz cabinet needs a new speaker. It's a FCS-112T and the speaker was rated for 200 watts. 2011 was the year I bought it.
The small 1x12 cab was perfect for small gigs and rehearsals but it's been getting really ratty sounding lately. The cone moves freely and I opened the cab and checked all connections. I tightened up all the screws , etc.
I think the Benz Genz driver has just been worn out. Low notes cause a clanky sound and it's not as loud as it was.
Any suggestions for a good 12" driver Higher capacity than 200 watts might be best. Thanks!

I should mention that I've always used either my Genz Benz Streamliner 600 or a Genzler Magellan 800 as power.

The FCS112 is 8 ohms and a maximum of 200 watts.
The Streamliner 600 is rated as 375 Watts @ 8 ohms, 600 Watts @ 4 ohms.
The Magellan 800 is rated as 400W @ 8 ohms, 800W @ 4 ohms and 800W @ 2.67 ohms.

Are you sure that you're not overpowering the cab and damaging the speaker?

Yes, I think you're right - too many of the quiet practices and small gigs got too loud and I wrecked it.
The cone moves smoothly but the sound seems to be poor.

Can you try the speaker with another amp just to be sure?

Parts aren’t available for that model, and the cost of the complete speaker is about the same as a recone.
