Man, this can get complicated. Question: Are you replacing a bad speaker, or just looking for better speakers for your 2x10 cab? If it's a replacement for a bad speaker, I would try to find an exact replacement.
The reason it is complicated is that the cab size is matched and tuned for a particular speaker's T/S specs. Although it is quite possible that you might find other speakers that would work nicely, you have to do some researching to match one up, or you could always just take a shot in the dark and see how it sounds.
