Speakon kill switch

It doesn't come up often. But has been requested before. You would probably have to make something yourself.

I tend to use mixers for practice. Since there is headphone jack on a mixer.
And use computer plugins for more options
Likewise you could use the DI out on the head with a mixer. And I believe master volume could remove power amp signal. So you wouldn't have to unplug the cabinet. monitor with headphones through DI into mixer
Otherwise effect send to mixer if master controls DI out volume.

My Mesa amps have that same issue. If you connect cans to the headphone jack the speaker would still play. Speakon connectors have a little tab that you have to pull, then twist the whole thing lefty-loosey while you're holding the tab.

It already has one built on the connector.
From the back of the amp head not far from the headphone jack, put hand on Speakon connector and pull the thumb tab back (switch), rotated head a quarter turn and it is not connected.

To reconnect the speaker just a quarter turn the other way, CLICK, your good to go.

Do not need to pull it out where it can fall to the floor and you need to get down to get it.
