Here's the inside of my forte with haz. Looks like all the dips are on for the ns2 setting which is good. Also so you can see the wiring.

Thank you so much, it shows exactly what I wanted to see and im hooked up right and your switches are set like mine.

Which knob is your bass cut/boost? Mine acts a little odd.
My bass tone is the bottom knob which used to be treble on
my tone pump and old NS2.

It's mostly people messing around trying to convince themselves that they don't need a HAZ. That's all

Not me ... I was just bored and thought I could make a awesome sounding bass better lol.... I got a better sound and accidently (stupidly) sold my tone pump preamp before I played a live show. But I'm having fun and I won't stop till I have the best sounding euro possible (to my ears anyways). I play every weekend and love it! I have played the last 42 years of my life and finally have a little extra money to get exactly what I want. But I screwed up thinking I could get the best sound with something other than the HAZ.... so now like others said I have to settle for a bit less till I have the funds for the HAZ (even though I spent more through this MISTAKE.... ) Hope by posting this I save someone else from making the same mistake. Delano is probably great for other style music and not putting their preamps down in any way. Could be great with the EMG X too... Who knows. The EMG TW's are probably great with the bqc preamp I'm getting.... But I believe I'm going to be happy (for hopefully more than 2 weeks lol) with the EMG DCX pickups and BQC preamp that I will have installed hopefully next week.... I'm rambling and don't care lol... It's keeping me from looking at other stuff I might spend money on ha ha ha

If I could just have all the money back that I spent on other basses throughout the years instead of just bucking up the money for a NS-2. I could probably have a warehouse full of HAZ preamps with that money.

If I could just have all the money back that I spent on other basses throughout the years instead of just bucking up the money for a NS-2. I could probably have a warehouse full of HAZ preamps with that money.

I was always caught up in the partying to much after shows and free drugs and alcohol from fans etc and it almost took my life in 2012. Been sober since then and have my life in order. I play in church every Sunday for people that remember what I played the next day and really appreciate my playing. I have the Ampeg svt4 pro and my pastor rebuked my 8x10 Ampeg cabinets and bought me a 4x10 Ampeg cab with a tweeter to use. I'm looking for another metal band to play in though and going to do things the right way this time.

I just received my Eurobolt 4 today. As someone who only has Fender basses, I can say 100% this is unlike anything I own. The sound unplugged is unique to me. The neck is much fatter than expected, but still comfortable to play. Fit and finish is phenomenal. The pickups have a nasal tone compared to my P bass, but rolling back the bridge pickup thickens the sound nicely. At some point, I'll install a set of 45-105 strings. I'm looking forward to spending a ridiculous amount of time playing with amp settings. This is going to be fun! One gripe though… I wish Spector would include a hard case. For a nearly 2k instrument, the gig bag seems like a cheap way out. I'm sure I'll be asking more questions about this wonderful instrument.

Had a lot of fun in my playing out days. Here Marty from Bobaflex, my mom and I. Got my mom on stage for All That Remains and her favorite band at the time Bobaflex. I used to go jam with Joey Belladonna from Anthrax at his house in Camilus NY and he would come to our house. My favorite bands were the local original bands that played out all the time. I miss those days. Just glad I quit partying

O man that sucks. One of my old singers died of a heart attack last year. He was only 43 years old

And I agree about cheap gig bag that is included. I'm not really big on gig bags vs a hardshell case, but I have other instruments that shipped from the manufacturers in gig bags, that were sturdier and of much better quality than the "Spector" branded gig bag that came with my bass.
