This dude has been sitting here quietly for too long of a time and never mentioned anything so I figured I'd jump right in.
Lee AKA Husky here is in a band called The Shallowz whom I've had the great honour and privilege to work with their vocalist on one of my tracks on the new album.
When Lee sent me the link to the two tracks they recorded I not only loved the songs but I also knew I had to steal their vocalist for my own benefit. Fast forward to about 8 month later, Marc (vocalist) and Lee were here in Vancouver!!!
For those of you who haven't heard his band, please do check it out and listen to the beautiful NS02 tone there!

Thanks for posting this Omer. I saw this a year or so ago and when I saw you posted it again I just paused what was on the TV so I could hear/see it again. I swear, you, Lee, Carlton, Donnie, and others (sorry I can't remember you all off the top of my head(, you all renew my faith that there is still great music being made.
I sometimes get into my "old man" mode and think there's nothing but crap out there. I thank you guys for keepin' it real, and keeping me young.

as previously stated, there is a TON of talent in this club! Guys like Omer, Lee, Donny, Matt, Bunk (I'm sure I'm missing several) all have great CDs worth checking out!! I've purchased several of their cd's, but looking at my itunes I missed a couple...going to have to remedy that in the next few days!
What pedal boards are you guys using? I'm looking to get into the pedal game for the first time and attempting to figure out what size board I would need. Currently I plan on the board having a tuner, VT bass DI, fuzz, flange/chrous, an envelop filter and maybe a compressor. I will probably add a few here and there as songs/sounds develop, but that would be the 'core' units of the board.
Should I just start with the mini and expand, or would you just have a bigger board that just won't be as full for a while... what say you pedal users???

Brad I make my own, but I think the pedaltrain boards are pretty good for a decent price.
That's an interesting idea!!! There is a mini on craigslist for $50. I might snag it to tide me over and when the time comes to expand, make my own to suit my needs!!!
I actually have a pedalboard case I don't need. If you want it let me know and I'll send it to you.

I started with Pedaltrain Nano, than swapped to Mini and now I'm with Pedaltrain Junior. It still has enough spare space to put more pedals. What I actually have on it are tuner, octaver, overdrive, fuzz and two envelop filters set differently. All that in combination make two sets of bass synths although all of them are used separately as well. Have a look.
I got a Pedaltrain 2; the soft-sided one. It's only about half full, mainly cuz I have two big stompboxes. I'd go standard, rather than mini, and build as you go. I think the PT-2 was only about $110 online. That way, you're not trying to sell the mini and upgrade in 6 months.

Steve, I had a pedaltrain pro that I found local, had it for a year with only 2 pedals on it and sold it for what I paid. One of my main concerns at the moment is the footprint. The next few gigs will provide great info on how much room I will have to play with...pun intended! The Kimbro's stage was pretty tight without anything and I was only sitting in at the pub last time so not sure how much space is there. These are the two venues we have booked thru the beginning of next year.
I really like Mike's idea of making my own once I figure out what pedals I'll actually use, and I can still keep the mini for those quick jam sessions etc!!

I just Googled "how to build a pedalboard", and there are dozens of good results, with video and instructions. I'm not a big project-builder, but this looks worthwhile.
