Hello. I have question about this bass guitar, when the pickup balance knob in position 50%, I can clearly hear the bridge pickup sounds louder than the neck pickup (P), even if I raise P pickup all the way up to the strings. Its not problem in preamp, cuz this problem was even with old TonePump preamp. This bass made around 2004-2006(kinda old) and I think P pickup lost some of volume over the years? Is it possible? xd Should I replace all P+J pickups, or just P pickup?
Now I have to replace P pickup for solving this issue, but what Pickup should I buy? I mean what kind of EMG pickups Spector use in Euro 4lx models, ceramic or alnico magnets? On website of EMG i found 2 versions of this classic pickup with gold EMG logo and White emg logo. I prefer classic Euro sound. Attach photo of my current pickups. Also I cant find pickups with same EMG logo that my bass has, but maybe they changed it with years
