Up for grabs today is a super-clean Spector Euro4 from the early 00s. Full maple wings and three piece maple neck (with, I believe, a rosewood or pau ferro fingerboard). Brand new 18v Haz Labs preamp installed. It uses a three knob layout, with the third being a stack knob. (The fourth knob, closest to a butt end, is a dummy.)
It’s about as close as you’re going to get to a US NS2 without the steep price tag. I’ve had a couple of 18v Haz-equipped Euro4s and they’ll give a lot of NS2s a run for their money. It’s actually the stock preamp for Spector’s NS4s.
There are a few dings here and there but it really is remarkably clean for an 18+ year old instrument. She obviously spent most of her life in the case.
I find the neck really comfortable, somewhere in the middle ground; not nearly as chunky as most Forte necks but definitely not as thin as a Kramer neck shave.
There is some pitting/wear on the bridge and tuners. Will ship well-packed in an non-Spector hard shell case. Local pickup is always an option if you’re within driving distance of 01985.
$1899 + actual shipping
Spector Club discount applies, of course. Please inquire within.
