For sale Spector Legend Fretless Conversion. Delano's.

This SPECTOR LEGEND 4-string is in excellent condition. I am a luthier and converted this to fretless with excellent results. Pulled frets, glued in maple strips, sanded to original radius and coated with 12+ layers of gun stock oil (sanding in between coats). Then I removed the low quality OEM soap bars and active circuitry. Had Delano of Germany custom make quad coil soap bars and wired to an all passive circuitry. The system cost me $350. What you hear is purely the bass and pickups. EQ is done via your amp or sound guy. Only two pots (master volume and blend) are used. The other two stock holes are filled with dummy knobs or switch.

If you want to try fretless or have an inexpensive one for occasional use, this is a classy set-up that looks and sounds awesome. Body is curved like a Warwick and rest is of good quality.
