Spector NS-2A Truss rod

Trying to find a new nut for my truss rod or maybe a new truss rod . Does anyone know of a truss rod brand that will work on the NS 2-A ? Or can one just use any single action TR, as long as it is the right length and fits in the slot ? The original truss rod works fine ,but the nut is beat. .It appears that the Gibson guitar brass nut has the same thread size(10-32 ? or TRN-20).Can someone confirm this ? The NS 2-A TR slot is to narrow to use any type of socket to tighten , has to be a hex type tool. Thanks for any info !

That is a dual rod single action truss rod, Fodera and Ken Smith use a similar design. Considering that you say it is working fine the easiest solution is to replace the nut. That was one of the first models made oversea, correct? It might be an imperial part, or might be metric. The best way is to measure with a caliper.

It is not a USA Spector, yes, Spector Kramer era. My first thought was it must be metric, but I have a load of metric nuts -and they didn't fit. The Gibson nut went on nice - nice fit. The old nut was - well somebody didn't have the right tool . Threads on TR are fine though.
