spector pickup change

Has anyone ever changed the pickups on their spector before ? how did it sound ? I was thinking of putting some lindy fralins on my spector, just dont know if they will fit. Spector uses EMG so i would guess that the fralins probably will fit ? thanks

I have a Performer and planning to change the PUs for Seymour Duncans SSB4.

I have the Doug wimbish model. It sounds great, but i am looking for a more vintage vibe. I should probably go for a fender or something else but the compact body of the spector is whats really important to me
