Spector Question

I've got a Spector Q6 Pro which is the best bass I've ever owned, BUT, it seems to me that the lower strings have way more volume than the higher ones, no matter how I EQ the bass or amp. This only seems noticeable while playing with my entire band. Never had this issue with my Fender, Yamaha (when I had it) or Lado. It sports EMG-HZ pups. Any ideas?

You can try playing with the pickup height to see if that helps.

I concour. Just lower the bass side of the pickup by screwing the pickup screw clockwise to push the pickup into the body for more of an even volume between strings. I've replaced pickups and the foam used underneath them many times and it takes a bit to get them at just the right height.

Beautiful bass, btw.
