SOLD Spector Rebop5 DLX Dark Zebrawood

This is a 2011 Spector Czech made bolt-on 35" scale 5 string bass with a dark stained Zebrawood top, figured Alder back, maple neck with rosewood fretboard and Spector crown inlays. This particular bass has been upgraded with Hipshot licensed tuners, a brass nut, and the electronics upgraded to an Aguilar OBP2 preamp @18V and EMG 40P5/40J pickups. The weight is 8lbs 14oz. It is in excellent shape and comes with a Spector hardcase in good condition as well. I just restrung it with a new set of Spector Formula 603 strings. It is a great sounding and playing bass, but I'm considering going back to 4 strings full time as I struggle to get comfortable on a 5 string. It was a little neck heavy until I installed the Hipshot tuners, and now it balances well on a strap. I'd consider swapping them back to stock and knocking $50 off the price if you don't want them.

I can imagine a sub-9 lb fiver body feeling a little neck heavy. The ultralights are a perfect solution. GLWTS.
