Gorgeous Bahama Blue 5-string Spector NS-5 JJ Bass
This is a gorgeous Bahama Blue, Neck-Thru US Spector 5-string with Jazz Pickup layout (rare) and gold hardware. Quilted Maple and Ebony fingerboard, thin neck specs, with crown Inlays. Recessed strap locks with gold locks. Standard spacing. Brand new Dunlop super brights with ~1 hour of play. Bathroom scale says 10.5 lbs. Comes with the OHSC.
Bass plays great, sounds amazing and is gorgeous. It's really tough to capture how amazing this color is and the quilted maple really catches the light.
I'm selling because I keep trying 5-strings and can't get there without impacting my 4-string playing. I guess I'm an either-or guy and I'm better at 4.
1 minor issue to note, 1mm hairline crack towards the end of the fingerboard (see picture). It's stable. Spoke with Mike Lull's shop and sent pics. They said it's a straightforward fix, quoted $50-80.
Other than that, bass is in excellent condition. You can tell it's been played and loved. It's in really good shape. Check out the pics.
