You won't need a special strap to use the Warwick Security Locks. They are a 2 piece design, one piece on each end of your strap, that lock in place onto the bass. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way. Thanks!

I have actually found that Dunlop strap locks work, also Hennessy strap locks work too. They fit perfectly over the standard Warwick strap buttons.

Hmm i could also get Warwick Corvette standard, but it's old 6 years...

how does years impact on the bass? was that model 6 years ago very different from the one now?

You get a lot more value when going used. For the same money, you can get a bass that was probably twice as much $ new and in terms of age, 6 years is still fairly new for a musical instrument.

If something is going to go wrong, it usually happens pretty early. Once it's "broken in" that generally how it's going to stay for the rest of it's usable life, as long as it isn't taken from one climate to another.

Would you have a chance to try out this 6 year old bass? If so, that would definitely be a smart way to go instead of buying online.

Might be a bit cheap, but not far off... Warwick's don't hold their value well at all, so used is definitely the way to go. If you're interested, it'd be worth the drive to go check it out. A Corvette std. trumps a Rockbass or Performer any day in my book.
