Speed: Proper Technique to Play Fast

I'm getting back into bass after 10 years, and switching from pick to finger-style. It takes some work...
...anyway, a recent thread here was talking about speed, which is a real issue for me as I switch to fingers. I found some things that seem quite helpful, posted on the Scott Bass YouTube channel. BTW, I subscribe to Scott Bass, and find it very useful.

Here are some links that seem very useful, on YouTube, that Scott Bass provides as a "teaser" for their subscription site:

The first links are for some basic MUST HAVE techniques that I'm struggling with, and are pre-reqs for the speed lessons. BTW, Scott says in the lessons to think in terms of WEEKS to get up-to-speed on any particular topic (such as above).

Separately, I find the Phil Mann courses on Sight Reading TOTALLY AWESOME! There are also some courses on groove that look really good, but I'm not there yet.

Anyway, hopefully the above is useful. Note: I'm not affiliated with Scott Bass. Just a happy customer.
