Spiral Electric FX (formerly Rose Pedals Electric Effects)

This thread popped into my head this morning and I thought it was fun coming up with new 'spiral' FX names like you had with the rose theme:
- Analog octaver: Downward Spiral
- HM2 type dist: Death Spiral
- Accessory tap-tempo switch (for i guess other companies' pedals for now): Spiral Tap
- Rotary sim: Spiral Gyro
- HPF/LPF: Spiral Pass
And now I've probably run it into the ground. Apologies.

@Tom Von Kramm , that Death Spiral idea would be rad, as well as a new 250 inspired Spiral OD with tone knob (or an active 2 band eq like the Gunslinger) and a diodes switch to choose from classic silicone, germanium, led and your Nanolog N2 that you've been using.
You are describing the Yellow Spiral that is coming out in a little over a week

I really want a Yellow Spiral. The 250 lineage has my interest and I'd like to support Toms new effects company.

The N2 is an interesting device. Electronically it acts as a Shottky diode pair, sonically (IMHO) it sounds like a cross between an LED and Ge diode pair. It has a less compressed and open quality that I like on both guitar and bass, but it has a slower attack and distortion texture of the Ge diode, but without the volume loss. On the Yellow I mix the N2 with either LED and Si on the Texture Toggle. This gives you three very distinct sounds but without a lot of volume drop. Since the Yellow is meant to be an OD, losing volume would be a no-no.
To sum up I think the N2 should become popular among bassists, it has a very open natural sound but still with a nice character.

Snagged Yellow Spiral Y52 today. Not gonna lie, my first 250 style distortion and super excited to check this one out. Seems killer with low gain stuff, but that fully dimed sound in Jonni Lightfoot's video is what I'm after. Will report back.

I recently had my second full band practice with Yellow #05 and really got it dialed in, I like the gain at around 3 o'clock.
My main two gigs at the moment will never need that fully dimed distortion sound, but that's the OMG sound that sold me on the Yellow. I might be able to dime it out and combine it with other pedals for some synth or dirty envelope filter sounds though. I'm bound and determined to find SOMETHING to use it for.
Out of curiosity, where do you find yourself setting the Girth knob? It appears that Lightfoot had it set at setting #3 in his video.

Got the chance to spend some quality time with my Yellow Spiral and maaaaaaan, this thing is something special.
Straight away when opening the package, it was clearly evident that @Tom Von Kramm and fam put some serious love into this pedal. I posted this shot earlier to the social interwebs, and will post more photos/thoughts/audio in the next couple days when I can find some time to record a demo worth listening to.
If the mods here are okay with it, maybe the name of the thread could be changed to Spiral Electric FX? Seems fitting since Tom has since renamed the company...?

I'm hoping to have a lengthier audio demo in the next few days, too. I'd like to do a video demo of it in the vein of Excane or Zach Rizer, but proper video is a bit over my head at the moment. I'm hoping to pick up a GoPro or two for my band, so getting into legit video is on the To Do list. Maybe then I can do a proper demo of the Yellow.
