Splitter

What are bass players using as splitters these days? I want to split my bass signal two ways... One to my amp... and a second to a preamp prior to going to the FH DI. I am not looking to spend a lot of money, buy would like a decent quality.

Variety of options out there. An ABY like the EHX Switchblade+ or Morley ABY would work, along with the LS-2 mentioned already. Depending on the preamp you want to use, a lot of them have this built in: regular effected out would go to FOH and a parallel non-effected signal would go to your amp. MXR DI+, Sansamp, VT Bass DI, and I believe the Darkglass B7k/VMT Deluxe have this feature.

What about to use Parallel Output on things like Sansamp? You can send uneffected signal to AMP with it and get a Sansamp tone through DI output.
