Under the flight path
So last night I was in conversation with a relative and said something about 'denausible pliability.' I didn't mean to. But I'm not sorry either, because it's pretty funny. Haven't done that in awhile. My ex was really ... good?... at these, once mentioning having bought a car from Linda Honwood. A few seconds of blank stare from me later caused a reuttering of the sentence, and realization that 'Lynnwood Honda' might have made more sense. (I'm aware that neither of these are *technically* Spoonerisms, but they certainly are something.)

Anybody else? And yeah, I'm seeing some crossover potential with the Accidental Band Names thread.

My favorite spoonerisms of all times is Cinderella by Jack E Ross from 1962.
It ill give you boose gimples.
Her two sisty uglers.
They made her do all the worty dirk while they sat around cheating auklets and maging readazines.
Chicaksee a fricken.
But the best of them is house to house, and you can't turn that around.

Rev Spooner himself had a LOT of these (hence the name). Some of my favorites:
Once at a wedding: "It is kisstomary to cuss the bride".
Raising a toast at a faculty event: "Long live our queer old dean!"
In a sermon: Our Lord is a shoving leopard"

"Madame, this pie is occupewed. May I sew you to another sheet?"
