Spring is finally here. It will be mid upper 70’s here in N. Florida. How miserable has Winter been to you and is it even over yet where you live?
It was a very mild Winter here. I think it may have gotten into the upper 20’s one time like for a couple hours.
How bout you and your tales of misery?

Still have snow in the yard, and have to clear the frost off of my windows before driving to work. Soon, getting the jet boat out of storage...

Spring is on the way, 60's next week.
I'm sure we'll get a goodbye smack from winter, but it'll be short.
Though I loathe winter more and more every year, this one was actually tolerable. We didn't get a bunch of snow, and more importantly single digit temps. The short gray days get me pretty hard though.
Welcome back to our hemisphere Mr Sun.

Same here. Though yesterday, I counted 63 American robins on my front lawn, so they must know something. I often wonder what the nonmigratory birds think when the robins come back to town every year. I'll bet it's something like: "Sissies!"

Miserable winter up here. Got snow in early Nov and it never left. Still 1.5 feet on the ground. Many many cold snaps and heavy snowstorms. Sidewalks have been icy for weeks now.

But spring is here and I can smell it in the air. Above freezing and rainy today - should wash away a good bunch of the remaining snow and ice before the weekend.

The Robins were thru here about a month ago in full force. Always my sign Winter is waning.

For me, the worst part of the winter season isn't the temperature or the snow. It's the darkness. Coincidentally, I started a different job just before winter which forced me to get up earlier in the morning and head home later. I felt like I only saw the sun on Saturdays...

Still getting some rain and that is good but the temp have been in the upper 6o's here. We even passed the 70 degree mark a couple of times. Put the screens back on my windows, birds are chirping and people are sneezing. Hearing the occasional honk of geese as they pass overhead. Some mornings I get to sit in my back yard with a book and enjoy the stillness before the city awakes.

It's been the high 70s in Seattle since Sunday :woot: We were finally able to open our windows, & leave em open while sleeping  But it's going back down to the average by the weekend. I bought my first sunblock :) Summery peek... and I like what I'm seeing

Worst winter ever in northern illinois.

We kept getting alternating waves of unusually warm air masses from the south and brutal cold air masses from the north. We'd see temperatures well below zero with high winds for long stretches and then it would warm up above freezing and melt all the ice and snow, often with days of heavy rain.

It was like that almost the entire winter.

Every autumn I put away my good cars and drive only a cheap, piece of garbage beater car until spring.

It's been almost 4 months now driving a 99 Ford Escort with so much rust on it that it's literally falling apart. It has a hole in the gas tank about halfway up so I can't put any more than 5 gallons of fuel in or it leaks out.

The first warm weekend in April I'm taking my Merkur XR4ti out for a drive. I did a lot of work on it in the past few months and I can't wait to try it out. I installed a new turbo, intercooler, bigger wheels and tires, and upgraded suspension.

The next several days are supposed to see highs in the upper 30's and lower 40's with much of the time windy and rainy.
