Squeaky Wah

My wah pedal makes a squeaking sound like old floorboards sometimes. Do i need to grease the gears or WD-40 the hinge. its only slightly annoying but i'm afraid i might be overworking it? hmm idk how theres a smiley before the title, im not happy :/

Like the hinge where the rocker pivots squeaks? If that's the case, grease that puppy up.
