Details

This is a 2005 Squier Bronco bass body with extensive modification..........
Removed the original pickup and installed a USA Carvin Stacked Humbucker Jazz pickup. This is the model that has numerous poles, as it was designed for 4, 5 and 6-string Carvin Basses.
Sounds fantastic!
Grafted a '62 RI Jazz control plate into the original pickguard. Sanded the pickguard to get an "in-line" texture, then painted it with black Stewmac Nitro Lacquer.
Replaced the 2-saddle bridge with a new MM-style black bridge.
The pickup makes this little bass come to life! Nice, deep lows and great higher end sounds. Screams pretty good.
The color is their stock "Torino Red", although it looks different in these pics. My camera doesn't do reds very well.
Neck pocket width is 2.31". Depth is 4.3" . I have had a Bronco, Mustang bass and Jaguar SS neck in it. All of them fit in the pocket, although the Jaguar SS neck is 20 fret (Mustang Bass and Bronco are only 19 fret), so you'd have to re-mount the bridge a bit.
I am hanging up the "project" side of my life for now. Trying to get my other business going and want to use the "Bass Room" for something else....... for now, anyway.
$65 shipped CONUS only, please.
This will be a great project for one of you folks out there. I've done several SS basses and the Bronco is definitely a nice platform on which to mod! This weighs 5lb 7oz, loaded as you see in the pics.
Thanks for looking! - Lenny
