Just put Hipshot tuners on my CV’s- the original tuners need a new home!
One set is from a 2019 Squier CV 70’s Jazz- they are in fantastic shape. One of the keys gets hung up for a couple of turns at a point but is stable and holds tuning just as well as the other three.
The other set is a bit older (from a 2012 CV 60’s Jazz) and the nickel shows signs of natural pitting / relic goodness and could use a good cleaning (if you care about that sort of thing.)
One of the clovers was jangly on the stem so I applied some blue Loctite to keep it from rattling (see photo below) but it could probably use a cleaning & some TLC. The Loctite may or may not still be holding- there may be a better way to remedy this but I’ll leave that up to the buyer.
Other than that, all keys in this set function perfectly.
Looking to sell both of these sets together as a pair exclusively.
