I’m looking to buy a 4-string Squier Jazz bass in natural finish. Does anyone on here know how the Indonesian-made Classic Vibe matches up with the Vintage Modified model, and if it’s worth the extra money?

If you're talking about the new CLassic Vibe the word isn't in on them yet...no real track history.
I think you'll do just fine with a Vintage Modified Jazz.
Regardless, I see them both listed at $349.99.
Now, if you were talking about the discontinued CVs in Inca Silver or Lake Placid Blue, I'd highly recommend them, instead.
(I don't think they came with a natural finish.)

I had a Squier VM 70’s Jazz Bass in natural finish. It had the Duncan Designed pups. It was a fantastic bass with a killer tone. I regret selling it as I replaced it with a Fender Jazz and felt it was expendable...it was not.
You cannot go wrong with a VM Jazz Bass in my opinion and with the 70s model in particular!

We're still awaiting the verdict on the Indonesian-made Classic Vibes. They should be landing in our stores over the next few weeks. As for the Vintage Modified '70s Jazzes, I haven't owned a whole one, but I've used three of their newer necks (two 2013's, one 2018…glossy finish, not satin,) on parts-bass builds and they're pretty sweet. 
Rookie bassist here, I just ordered one of these CV Jazz 4 string natural...I've been playing an old Rondo Music SX short scale 4 string (which I think sounds and plays ok) so hoping this will be an upgrade. Budget wouldn't allow for any more $ but I think this will be a nice change for me. I really like the looks of these and they get generally good reviews...
I needed a Jazz-bodied 5-string platform for a MIDI pickup a few years back and did the rounds of local stores looking for a decent clone, second-hand MIM, or whatever would be cheap and functional. Stumbled on a Squier VM Jazz V , natural finish with those Duncan Designed pickups, a display unit that was <$300 out the door, and it sounds fabulous, particularly digging in fingerstyle on DR Hi-Beams, and plays wonderfully. Amazing value for the money. I used to consider Fenders overrated and Squiers underbuilt, but this bass changed my mind.
