I present a Transparent WHITE Squier Paranormal Jazz Bass. The White model was discontinued and is somewhat harder to find. This unit has quite a few cosmetic and functional upgrades to it. They are:
- Multi-laminate Vintage white guard ( replacing the single lam black plastic )
- Guyker Hi mass bridge
- Duncan Design Single coil Pickups. ( these provided a higher output than the stock 54' pickups)
- Hipshot Ultralite tuners ( Some are Sadowsky Hipshot Lic from a MetroExpress, others are branded hipshot. They are identical in every other way- see photos)
- Hipshot string tree
- Faux Abalone top and side dots.
- Bass weight just under 9 1/2 lbs ( see photo)
- Unique stacked Vol/Tone, Vol/Tone
- Fully Passive
- Poplar Body/Maple Neck,Fingerboard.
These Paranormal 54's are unique in that they have high polished necks, headstock, fingerboards. So they're reminiscent of the polished 70's fenders. The trans white finish is unmarked, and as new. As the photos show, there isn't a mark on it. Quality control is also outstanding on these models. A very nice bass. See Lobsters review.

This is an excellent alternative to the current performer series of Fender basses at half the price.
