Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass OW US analog

I was wondering if there is a proper Fender USA analog to Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass in Olympic White easily available for purchase?

Any thoughts?

Just note that there a few differences in the neck style. 70's P necks were 1.75" at the nut & 7.25" radius where the AmSpecials are 1.65" at the nut & 9.5" radius. Also the AmSpecs have a 'Thin C' shaped neck where the 70s were usually a bit more chucky.

The Roger Waters P is likely a bit more analogous to the MIJ, but then again the Roger Waters isn't MIA.

Weren't 70's necks "B" and sometimes "A" necks?

I do like Fender Japanese 70s reissue a lot but with shipping and customs it's about 1100 EUR. At the same time American made Olympic White Fender Precision Special is just below 1000EUR. Haven't played any of them though. No chance to try them somewhere near also.

What would be a more reasonable thing to do?
