I bought this bass from a fellow TB'er back in February. I got it because my favorite bass is a shortscale squire vm bass (in red, with tapewounds) and I thinking maybe the improvements would be even better.
However, I bought it just after I started having hand pain issues. Laying off the bass for 6 months, going to physical therapy, trying various online remedies ... I'm still not playing. I don't need two of these basses, in fact, I'm probably going to list some others and pare it down to one bass and one amp. I think I'm on the path of giving up entirely.
I've played it a little just to check it out without aggravating my hand issues too much and the only thing I'd add to the original listing is the pots make a scratchy sound a bit when turned (no noise in any one position, though). I'm asking $275 plus shipping, the same deal as when I bought it.
