Post 'em here, or tell us about it. My camera's broken, so I'll just have to talk about my Squier. It's my primary instrument. BAII bridge, tortoise shell pickguard. It has tone that could make an American J cringe with intimidated fear. I use it to record, to play live, and I've written many of my best basslines on it. It's helped shape my band's sound, and has helped write some of our best songs.

How about you other Squier VMers?

I wish the wt405 was smaller. When I stack the 210's vertically and put the amp on top it looks like frankenstein.

I cant wait to get my hands on a VM Jag bass! I really dig the "retro-ness" of it. :hyper:

Love my VM Jazz! It has that retro look I've been jonesing for for a while now. No mods though, except for new black Jazz bass type knobs, a thumb rest and straplocks. It really doesn't need anything else, it was pretty much good to go right out of the box. Except for maybe a P-bass bridge cover, that's all the mods it's gonna get. I hate to use such an obvious cliche, but ...
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I've almost finished modding my VM fretless. I did a series/parallel wiring mod, replaced all the pots with 500k's, a .022μf capacitor, a SJB-2 pickup in the neck position and a Tesla VR-B4 in the bridge position. It sounds great as is, but I just ordered a Quarter Pound to put in the neck position because the SJB-2 solo'd sounds too muddy (I heard the SJB-3 has more definition in the attack.)

Anyone know of any aftermarket pickguards that would work for this bass? I know I'll have to drill holes, but it'll be worth it if I can get one from wdmusic.com.
