Squier VM vs. CV jazz

Is there any difference with the sounds of the Squier VM's and CM's? I already know the physical differences but is one jazz bass punchier than the other?

Not a whole lot of differences, with the same strings and EQ.

I went VM instead of the CV for the neck. The VM had a better feel to me than the CV did. That's all.

Other than that, I could live with either sound-wise.
