Squier with BassLines

Hi! I have a question for you guys . My second bass is an Indonese Squier Pete Wentz signature and originally it has a Duncan Designed P-bass pickup. I wanna put a Seymour Duncan to it. My question is: what's the best Duncan P bass pickup (I play glam rock/hard rock/sleaze rock and I think the best for me is the BassLines but i'm not sure of it) ?
And the second question is: Is there a big difference between the Designed and the really Duncan pickups?

Couldn't tell you the differences since I've never played that bass, but I imagine there are some. But it's not always the case that an expensive pickup will sound better than a cheaper one. It might, but it might not. I'm sure the pickup it comes with is a fine pickup and I'd suggest leaving it alone for now until you get used to playing it. Then you can make an informed decision about replacing it if you feel the need, or maybe you'll like it well enough to where you leave it and save yourself some cash.

The stock pickups in those basses are good. Just play with the height of the pups a bit and you'll find the sweet spot. I've never felt the need to change out stock pickups in any guitar/bass that I've owned except for a Squier affinity, and only if it were to be used for jazz or something mellow would I actually change it.
