Squire Indonesian Bass 1995

A friend of mine has a Squire P bass. Serial 500128. It dates to 1995 according to the Fender site and is made in Indonesia. i cannot find any info. Most Squires at that time show made in Korea. Does nay one have any experience with these? Junk or good stuff?

You can try the bass and tell us if it’s is junk or good.

I’ve been thinking for a while now that it’s a matter of time before people start using squier rosewood necks as upgrades, or for “vintage style “ builds.

I do own an early 2000s squier , Indonesia, and it’s a pretty decent instrument. You probably don’t even need new tuners unless they are the “licensed by Schaller” ones.

It's an intermediate quality P bass. It's good enough for me to use for practice and gigs. If the neck is good (not twisted) I might buy one.
