Squire VM Precision PJ

Anyone own one of these? Search didn't get me very far.

I'm debating my tax-time bass purchase (coming in a few months), and this is the top of my list.

I'm wondering about the agathis body, and the tone of the bass. Clips appreciated.

I played one in the CAR at a local shop. Sounded and felt good with the setup it had through a basic combo amp.

It's the blue one that caught my eye. I normally play P's, but have been wanting one with a bridge J. This may be my next bass.

Honestly, I like the PJ a lot, but I don't use the J pup just the moment, so I can't tell you how that holds up. I have gigged the bass and I was happy with it, especially for the price. More in depth reviews of it are in the Squier VM threads.
