Stack Knob Plate VS. Regular Jazz Plate

Is there any difference in the diameter of the holes on a stack-knob jazz bass plate compared to a regular control plate?

I'd like to use a black control plate for the bass I'm working on, and I'd also like it to be a stack-knob setup.

If I have to sacrifice, I guess I'll have to give up the stacked setup, since chrome will look terrible against the finish.

Thanks for the fast response. My next question is, where am I gonna find the best deal on the pots and such for this setup online?

Bayou Cables....for $30, you get a standard Jazz Bass harness with CTS pots, quality capacitor, and professionally soldered.
Just conect the leads to the pickups.

That's not much more than the cost of the parts.
I've had several.

If you want the stacked pot setup, Butch at Bayou is as good as anybody with AllParts Pricing. I perfer the stacked pot setup to VVT. It's a little darker which translates into more 'full' sounding.
