standalone: 112 or 115?

what do you prefer as standalone: 112 or 115 (both with tweeter).

does a powerfull 112 cab (300 watts rms) can be loud enough for rehearsal and small/medium gigs?
what are the main differences between 115 and 112? Im looking for good mids for slap tone but with enough low end.
thanks

115. More volume (like alot more) and deeper.

That is a generalization though. Most times thats the case, but there are some exceptions with either really well built 112s compared to crappy 115s wherein the 112 outperforms the 115 due to superiour design and components.

better to focus on the cab than what is inside IME I gig with a 1x12 or a 1x15. I can expand the 1x15 to 2 1x15's but really don't need to. Soon I'll have my 12+6 'shaken out' - which will bury the other 3 combined ... there is more to it than the size of the driver...

I'm using a Gk Neo 112 w/ 700RBII head in a fairly loud country band playing some bars. Seems to be loud enough and enough bottom. I really like having to tote less when ever possible. Can always line out if needed in a bigger venue.
