Stanley Clarke w/Animal Logic

AFAIK, he started with Gibson EB basses and then discovered Alembic.

In between the Gibson EB-2 (which I believe he deployed on the very first Return To Forever album, the ECM one that includes "La Fiesta") and the Alembic Series I, Stanley had a Rickenbacker 4000. Pretty sure that's what he's playing on RTF's Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy album.

It very well could be because he got his first Alembic in 1973 and the HoTSG album was released in 1973.
