If you haven't already, def check out our own Paul "To The Bathroom" Warburton's playing in the TBDB Sampler. He plays this sinister looking Bohmann 5'er. Personally, I think the sound of a low C is even bigger than it's ERB counterpart. You might want to ask him for suggestions as well. And then there's the whole thing about amplication you'll get into at some point. 'mo $$$!!!!!
