Static from one pickup only

Hey guys, I just got a replacement body for my jazz bass and when I transferred everything I have a static noise only from the bridge pickup. The neck pickup is quiet at all times but the moment the bridge pickup volume is raised the static comes in. The static is present regardless of if the bass is touched on the strings, control plate, bridge, etc.

The equipment onboard the bass is: Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder neck pickup, Seymour Duncan Vintage bridge pickup, both going to an 18V Audere JZ3 4 band preamp and badass 2 bridge.

I’ve checked wiring and grounds and everything seems to be in order, so needless to say I’m super confused and any help would be appreciated.

Well, as far as the pickups go, the bridge pickup would certainly emphasize more high end, so it could be that. I'd try to eliminate the pickups as the source by wiring each to the jack. If the sound you are hearing goes away, it isn't the pickups.
