Status Basses

Absolutly fabulous!!! I have a Groove Bass 4 & 5 as well as the Status made Trace Elliot T-Bass which is hands down the best J-Bass copy I've ever played!!! 24 fret too!! Im now addicted to there wood basses. I wont be pulling the trigger on a graphite one for some years now.. Maybe after I get another house.. lol :bassist:

I see they have 2 Sharks out there. I always wanted to try one of those, but they are not readily available here in the colonies.. :hmm:

I know a guy who know a guy that had a Graphite 6 string & didnt like it! Maybe it wasnt his cup of tea. Probably had played a graphite bass before. It does seem like it could take some getting used to. The wooden SG's I've played have all been quite lovely! Im glad I got em! :D

I love Status basses! Even their wooden basses are good but their graphite and wood/graphite basses are amazing! I have one at the minute and had another one last year!

I sold the Stealth but the Matrix will be staying as my main bass for a long time...until I can afford another Status!

I used to own a passive shark 5, and while i'm not a fan of wide necks, the string spacing and neck profile made it very comfortable to play. i'd like to own one again given the chance. should never have sold it, but i was upgrading to a stingray 5 at the time. ironic thing was i was never happy with the stingray.
