This is a UK-built Status B2 4-string bolt-on with Entwistle-Buzzard woven-fiber neck and headstock. It has 26 frets (not including the zero-fret) and a 1.75” nut, Roman numeral fret markers and red side-LEDs. The body is alder and finished in gloss black. The body shape makes the ergonomics way more familiar than the full Buzzard model. Pickups and electronics are the OEM Status Entwistle versions, with an 18V preamp. Controls are master volume, blend, treble boost/cut, midrange variable frequency, and bass boost/cut. Toggles are for mid-boost on/off (at the set frequency center) and LEDs on/off. It has a front panel locking jack and chrome hardware with Schaller strap locks (female ends are included). This bass is in mint condition, with no dents, dings or scratches. It plays very well with super low action (as you’d expect). Includes all paperwork and truss wrench. Bass weighs 9 lbs., 3 oz and comes in its OEM, ultra-heavy duty aluminum case, in excellent condition with 3 keys. Shipping is free in CONUS. Sorry, not interested in any trades. {}
Thanks for your interest. It has 26 frets (plus zero-fret - see above). Scale length is 34" and build date was March 2016.
I swore I'd buy this bass if I ever saw one come up on the classifieds, but tendinitis beat me to it and I can't play long scales anymore. Sad face. Someone please buy this bass and rule the world with it.
This was mine and the action is so insanely low you could literally blow on the fretboard and it will fret a note. Incredible bass!!!!
I was just asked about the string spacing. It is 19mm at the bridge (just a hair under 3/4"). There is room for a little adjustment.
I was too late! I have a streamline and a stealth and I’m shopping for a B2. Rats! Guess it’s back to “direct from Rob!”
