    I think Steinberg runs this deal about once/twice a year. If you plan on upgrading anyway, it's a good time to do it.

    I'll throw a question out there, too. I have 9.5 Pro- an upgrade from 9.5 to 10.5 is just under $100. Anyone experienced with both who can offer an opinion on whether 10.5 is/isn't worth the upgrade?

    Yes its worth it. Has new eq's and compressors. Also you can work on one area of a track without affecting the ful track. Timeing all vocals together and aligning them. New Variable 3 can also ajust vocals much better including tone at each phrase. Can take a bunch of takes and change each take to one you like. Can group editing now. Also mixing history to compare. The mutitap delay is serious. Also dual eq where you can say take the bass and bass drum and see what is hurting the other.
