steinberger xp vs. l series

Do the XP "mini V's" compare at all to the L series sound wise? I know the xp has a maple body, but is it close?

If you get one with the active EMGs, then yes, they sound quite similar.

You'll know by the positioning of the foil on the logo ( passive in the middle of the bottom of the pickup, active in the corner).


THe active ones also have a corner of the pickguard which screws away to contain the battery
