Here we have the Sterling SB14, which is the Sterling version of the Music Man Sterling. So you get a smaller body and a jazz bass size neck (fast and sleek). These have been discontinued for some time. 3 band active eq and the awesome switching capabilities. 3 positions give you, from neck to bridge; Series, Single Coil (with a phantom coil so it's noisless), and Parallel. You get a hot punchy output from the ceramic humbucker. This bass plays great. It had a couple of high frets when I got it and I went through it and did a complete fret job on it. This bass has been played, as evidenced by the wear on the pickguard, but I'd say it's got 85% frets on it after I leveled, recrowned, and polished em up. They look new now. 9lbs. Price includes shipping within the Continental US. It's got a killer Sterling gig bag.
I owned one of these years back and it sounded pretty much like my 1996 USA Sterling. Great bass for the money IMO. GLWTS
