Before I decided to put together a P-bass from parts (should be starting in on it next week), I somewhat impulsively bought a Sterling Sub Series 4 off of eBay. Since I decided to start on my P-Bass, it's pretty much been sitting in it's box, figuring I'd either return it or sell it on craigslist. On a whim, since I got a gig tomorrow, I took it out to see what it was like, and DAMN was it sweet. Aside from a little fret buzz it felt great, the action was sweet. Upon further inspection, I noticed this sticker on the back of the headstock.
Could this have somehow been a demo model for NAMM (which would explain it being pretty much set up out of the box) or do all of them come with this? I love my Thunderbird, and she's been my main girl for about 2 years now, but at my gig tomorrow, this may be my main axe.
