There are a few post on this subject right now but here's a question:

I always thought that his Blue Precision was a refinish of his original White Precision that had the West Ham Sticker on it and that the signature model doesn't really represent an actual bass he plays - more of a hybrid with his input?

Any hardcore Steve H fans out there that can either confirm or correct me?

When Harris agreed to do a signature model with Fender, he wanted it to sport the West Ham colors, hence the wine-colored pickguard. Not close enough to his original blue sparkle with mirror pickguard IMO, and with the basswood body, I was never interested in his sig model.
