StewMac Bass Neck Blanks to short?

At 34", aren't they to short for making a 34" Scale Length bass with a through-body-neck design?

Wouldn't that put the bridge hanging off the end of the bass?

Also, when designing a through-body-neck bass like this, the StewMac body blanks would leave enough extra wood to make 2 instrument bodies/sides, right?

The stew mac neck blanks are designed to do a bolt on neck, 22 fret or less. On a standard 22 fret neck, you have 25.5" of fretboard, and 8.5" of headstock. The body blanks are designed to make a bolt on body. you may want to find a lumber yard or hardwood retailer where you can buy some dimensional lumber, and start off with a plan for success. you have a good design, all you need is to locate the lumber to get it off the ground.

Discovering that one must have been brutal.

Allergies suck.

I found out I cannot take ibuprofin.
Never had a problem until 2006 when I wound up in the hospital after taking 1000 mg for back pain.

My throat swelled up, I couldn't breathe very well at all and couldn't walk more than 50 feet without collapsing.

I was rushed to the hospital and hooked up to adrenaline.
The doctor said I could have died because it was very accute and my throat was still closing up.
He said it was comparable to MANY bee stings.
(never been stung by a bee....wonder if I'm allergic to those as well?)

VERY scary time indeed.
