Someone who liked it a lot and either was fine with the team sticker or actually liked the team?Surprised no one has mentioned that the $999.99 Fender Steve Harris signature bass comes with a friggin' SOCCER team sticker already on it. Who the hell would buy that thing?
so YOU bought that bass!

Bought nothin'! I built her from parts!!
Yep, curated, assembled and aesthetically-enhanced by Yours Truly, all save for some routing by my most-excellent local guitar tech.
Unveiling ~ Part Two: Projekt Blue II
Ahhh, I thought for some reason it had been for sale a while back and figured you'd scooped it up - couldn't remember who built it, though! Now I know! It stuck out in my head because it's one of my faves on TB.
ANYWAY back to the thread
drool that is a stunner. Their lossAre you sure? 'Cuz mine has, like, nine stickers on it, yet somehow I think I'd get drummed out of a punk bar if I showed up with this.![]()

Call me old fashioned but I kind of agree. Its just tacky most of the time and I can count on my fingers how many times I've seen a sticker tastefully added. No!!! Stickers show a lack of respect for the instrument and the people that made it. I bought a Takamine 12 string once on which there has been a star stuck to the scratch plate and removed. However the star shape stayed visible like a ghost forever. Keep stickers for the cases not the instruments.
