Stickmen Gear stolen in StLouis

Assuming what I read is true on Facebook:
Stick Men were stolen most of their equipment in the St. Louis, MO area. Craigslist users, please do not buy and report to the authorities. This was a huge financial loss for the guys. Down here you can find a list of Markus Reuter's missing equipment. Tony Levin lost most of his own equipment as well.

If anyone can offer any ideas on how to recover this (our guys' professional tools to actually perform their job), please let us know.

Reuter and Levin managed to scrape up some gear for tonight's show in Columbus.

So ridiculous that it happened. Based on other FB posts, it seems to have been a targeted robbery while the band can was in valet parking.

When I looked it up it appears that this has been a trend in st. Louis. That's too bad and yet another strike against live music. Sometimes people can really be crappy.

Other reports say it was two pedal boards. Second time their van had been broken into: the first when the equipment was in their hotel rooms, the second (this time) when they stopped for gas. Apparently drums had been shifted around to hide the loss of the pedal boards. Pictures and more info is Invalid Link Removed.

Damn that sucks, I imagine pedals are hard to recover if there sold off one at a time or whatever, any instruments taken? Those are easier to keep a eye out for

Here's some good news: Some fans evidently set up a fundraiser to help Markus cover his losses -- evidently Tony declined the offer of assistance -- and they raised considerably more than their goal of $4200:
