Can someone please measure the distance from the 12th fret to the center of the pickup of your Stingray?

I'd like measurements for the full scale and for the short scale to compare with my Warmoth 'Ray basses.

So, the Stingray center of pickup spacing for those three basses when measured from the 12th fret is:
  • 39.5% of the scale length for my full-size 'Ray
  • 39.8% for my 32" scale 'Ray
  • 39.8% for the 30" Stingray.
Applying the 39.5% number to shorter scales I get theoretical positions of:
  • 12.65" (321 mm) for 32" scale
  • 11.86" (301 mm) for 30" scale
Which puts my 32" scale pickup 3 mm closer to the bridge than math would suggest, and the MM short scale 2 mm closer to the bridge. Basically meaningless differences.

Conclusion: All there of these basses have their pickups pretty much in the MM sweet spot based on percentage of string length.

Anyone have more measurements?

I didn’t know they made 32” MM style basses. I’m in the market for one.

Could somebody please tell me which models are 32” ? TIA
