Anyone know where I can get an aftermarket stingray hh pickguard? Would trade my tortshell for black if anyone is keen..

wdmusic.com is linked to pickguards.com, and doesn't appear to have the stencil either. I have been thinking about sending them a tracing to order a red tort pg. I'll get that in the mail today and let you know the price they quote me. I've also thought about ordering the standard Stingray pg and routing the bridge pickup opening myself, but unless their prices are insane, I'd just as soon spend a few extra bucks.

You can get them from Ernie Ball, too.

Not sure of their prices, but you could be certain to get one that fits perfectly, and their customer service is really good.

I've been looking for SR5 HH pickguard options also. Yet to find anyone with a template.

I don't see why you guys don't just call up Ernie Ball.
At least you know their pickguards fit right....

+1 to getting ahold of Ernie Ball. I got a replacement one for My SR5. They shipped it quick.

But how about getting in contact with one of the pickguard making companies, see if they'll let you send off the one you have so it could be used as a template?

The two Stingray pickguards I got from WD were poor fits and, believe it or not, more expensive than those from EBMM.

Pickguard Heaven has just about anything you want. Decent prices too.

I just bought a 5 layer pickguard from them for my SUB 5 for $30. It fits perfect.

I also bought a 5 layer for my Sterling from WD Music and it fit great too.

I just got an email reply from EB (speedy!). The Stingray HH guard is $55 and can be ordered from EB or from an EB dealer. I won't be sending a tracing out after all--this is just lots easier.

I have the long and mcquade special version in the purplish colour with the clear pickguard.
I dont fancy the clear pickguard, so i traced out a piece of white paper and screwed the clear pick guard over it. It looks legitimate from a far.
