I recently picked up a little combo amp that had been tucked away in a basement. The amp sound good but it smells like under the house funk. Does any one have any tips to get the smell out.

Thank you. I tried the Fabreeze. It did not work. The amp ended up smelling like mildew and Fabreeze.
If there was a band that played under the house funk, I would totally go see them.

Two things: One, remove. Two, cover.
For removing I tend to use a little elbow grease combined with lysol/etc. to kill the funk and remove it bodily. That is the first order of business. Whatever can be removed/scrubbed should be done first. Pull the knobs, wash/rinse/dry, and get behind 'em as well. Wipe down the cord, vinyl covered parts, etc. You might even get away with spraying the grill cloth with the lysol to kill the organism.
Then, cover: The outsides should come scrubbibly clean, but the inside may be another matter, and in that case you can try cover: I've had luck masking off critical areas and hitting things with a little spray paint [KILZ works best IMHO] as wood, particle board, Masonite etc tend to absorb odor causing things and re-emit them. KILZ will even suppress smoke odors.
One thing that will NOT work is anything ozone related...ozone machines, spray etc will give a temporary relief but the smell WILL come back! Car lots use it in order to move a vehicle, but a few days later, after the three day cooling off period expires, the funk comes back....

Rafael thank you. I have tried to clean what I can but I was not able to clean the exposed wood inside thoroughly. I was thinking the smell should come out. I never thought about locking the smell in. I will pick up some KILZ and lock in the funk.
